(Nvidia has complied with this for other publishers without question so far) I think it's far less likely that de would do this due their particular Revenue model. In fact if they were to decide to shut this down They would do what blizzard/EA has done and just request that they remove their games from the service. It is normally temporary and can be regional I'm betting its more likely that than de shut it down.
The login servers do occasionally have issues with warframe and cause that issue. I haven't actually tried to log in for a couple days, but derebeccs posted on this thread seemly pro this idea. I just tested it for a couple missions on my phone with an xbox 1 controller connected to my phone I was impressed enough with it to sign up.
